Help, before I tear my hair out!

Mon Sep 21, 2009, 4:14 PM
I've started a painting which may or may not imitate someone else's. It's looking eerily familiar, but I can't find it on the deviantart sites of anyone I'm watching, nor do I see it in the art history books I have on hand.

Does this look familiar to anyone else?

I just want to have fun painting bird's eye still lifes; I don't want to worry who else is doing it. I console myself that no two artists handle the same subject or concept the same way, and I _KNOW_ I spontaneously/ organically/ solitarily happened across this arrangement....but still....

  • Mood: Panic
  • Listening to: "My Vintage Romance" Alex
  • Reading: Bleach
  • Watching: Big Bang Theory episodes

Thanks for checking it out!

I didn't want it to seem like I was ignoring you, but these last weeks were hectic, specifically on stupid thursdays.. I'll be back from Oregon in a couple of thursdays, we should hang out. By that time I'll probably be craving attention from normal people (yes, you are normal by Cortney standards)AND I have that night off so I can visit for longer than an hour, if you want.. Have a great few weeks and I hope to see you soon [link]

Hey, if I rate longer than an hour that'd be pretty spiffy! Um, right, I should interject the traditional: have fun in Oregon! Don't wear colors every day! Etc.

Sorry I neglected you right back. It's not intentional, I think I just have a poor sense of time passing. I may have mentioned this before. I'll think "hey, it's been a bit since I saw so-and-so, at least a week or two. Let's check the calen...what? Three months, for true? Yeesh, they've probably forgotten who I am by now..."
